THROWBACK! Ranbir Kapoor Asserts He Is ‘TIRED’ Of Koffee with Karan; Says, ‘Karan Johar Keeps Making Money Out Of Us’
Koffee With Karan and star kids go a long way! However, Ranbir Kapoor sparked debate as he famously refused an offer to apper as a guest on the talk show, last year. Notably, this wasn’t the first time Ranbir had unapologetically bashed the show and has often spoken negatively about the show in the past already.

During an appearance on the now-defunct comedy collective AIB’s podcast in 2018, Ranbir Kapoor had shared that it is unfair that Karan Johar reaps the benefits of the show, while the filmstars who appear on the show rake all the controversies the host spews.

When asked if he was tired of Koffee with Karan, Ranbir responded saying, “I am, I was forced this season. Me and Anushka were actually going to protest and get the film industry together, to stop this, it’s not fair…”

He continued, “He keeps making money out of us, we come, and we get sc****d through the year, and it’s not right.” However, AIB’s curiosty did not end there. The host also asked if the renowned hamper is really that enticing. To which Ranbir replied, “Nothing, same iPhone you’re getting.”

On the contrary, Karan spoke of Ranbir’s absence in the seventh season of the show and told NDTV, “He’s a really close friend of mine. He said ‘If I say something, kuchh gadbad ho jaega (something will go wrong) so I’m not coming’. He teases me, he says, ‘You pay me what you’re getting, then I’ll come’.”

Karan added, “I said ‘why should I pay you? I’m not paying you’. I’m paying you enough for the movies you’re doing.’ And I respect that. Just because they are close friends, they shouldn’t come. They should come if they want to come.”

Nevertheless, even after Ranbir’s comments, there is no bad blood between him and Karan Johar.  ALSO READ | Kangana Ranaut Gives WARNING To ‘Changu Mangu Gang’, Says ‘Ghar Me Ghus Ke Maaroongi’; Is She Talking About Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt? See Her POST
